The biggest touring dance convention in the UK!  CYD? will be visiting TEN cities throughout 2017! 

  • MASTERCLASSES from industry leading choreographers, dancers and teachers. Each one of our professional faculty brings their own experience  – a combination of talent, passion and energy that brings you the latest cutting edge choreography.
  • An interactive EXHIBITION where you take free classes, gain career advice from the UK’s top dance organisations and have fun shopping for the latest dance wear & accessories.
  • An innovative SHOWCASE platform. Showcase against the best dance schools at the UK’s biggest dance convention, in a fun, friendly environment to become the CYD? 2017 Champion.
  • The opportunity to be scouted for SCHOLARSHIPS to attend some of the UK’s top performing arts colleges. CYD? helps dancers gain access to full and part time courses and many of our younger dancers are offered free Easter & Summer school courses too.

Every convention is fun, high energy and positive. CYD? offers an educational dance experience where everyone walks away feeling inspired!

Individual Dancers

Get your SILVER ticket to work with the UK’s top choreographers & dancers.  Take masterclasses in Commercial, Contemporary & Musical theatre, learn cutting edge choreography and get scouted for scholarships and awards. You can also visit the exhibition, see the colleges perform and watch the school showcase at the end of the day. For dancers of all abilities aged 8 upwards.

Dance Schools

Do you want to showcase your school at CYD? 2017?! If so you will need to purchase your GOLD tickets here. You can enter TWO groups – one Junior (aged 8-13) & one Senior (aged 14+). Gold tickets will give you showcase entry, 3 Masterclasses and entry to our exhibition. Showcase your dancers in a fun, supportive & friendly environment at CYD? 2017.

BRONZE tickets are for family & friends of dancers attending (CYD? is a private event & unless you are coming along to support a dancer you will not be allowed entrance) Individual dancers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all our events. Children under 5 & teachers bringing a group on Gold tickets can enter for free.

Exhibitors & Colleges

CYD? is growing at a rapid rate and we welcome dance brands, colleges and any exhibitors who want to reach 17,000 dancers and their families across ten cities!

Scholarship Scheme

With support from colleges we offer the CYD? scholarship scheme. In 2016, scholarships worth over £500,000 were awarded. We hope to increase this even further in 2017.

Showcase Rules

You can enter two groups into the showcase – 1 Junior (ages 8 to 13) & 1 Senior (ages 14+). Routines should be approximately 2.30 long with an absolute maximum of 3 minutes.

Tom is a Freelance Event Producer and Choreographer and is the UK based creative and choreographer for the highly esteemed “Freckled Sky’ who featured on “America’s Got Talent” in 2015. His passion for teaching has allowed him to create Can You Dance? alongside his close friend Matt Flint.
