Alongside CYD, Matt is a Creative Director/Choreographer of hit shows like Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Strictly Come Dancing & the NTA’s, plus various West End/Regional musical productions. Most recently Matt was Creative Director/Producer of the ‘Party At The Palace’ for the Queens Jubilee.
Tom is a Freelance Event Producer and Choreographer having worked on high profile fashion shows, product launches, corporate events and hair shows. His passion for teaching has allowed him to create Can You Dance? alongside his close friend Matt Flint.
Can You Dance? was formed in 2012 after Matt & Tom met on the BBC 1 TV show ‘So you think you can dance.’ They began with one event and have now grown to 8 Regional Conventions, 4 Teacher Conventions, their flagship event, the CYD? Super Convention and a very exciting brand new event coming in 2022! Alongside all of this they are proud to have an amazing company of 55 dancers in the CYD? Dance Stars Company!
CYD? is at the forefront of the dance events industry and can be credited for introducing the dance convention scene to the UK. It was developed to create a platform where dancers can be educated and inspired in a supportive and professional environment. CYD? have always, and will always, put dancers at the forefront. Every one of the events has been designed around the dancers experience.
