- Performance places at each convention are subject to availability. Having a stand does not guarantee you will be offered a performance slot.
- Routines should be a maximum of 4 minutes with a minimum of 3 performers (Any music over 4 minutes will be returned and asked to be cut). All music must be emailed over to us at least 14 days prior to the event.
- The size of the ďŹoor is 16m x 12m.
- The college showcase takes place over lunchtime (exact times will be conďŹrmed closer to the date). We ask all students to be at the venue at least an hour beforehand. Warm up and changing facilities are dependant upon each venue.
- We welcome costumes, however all costumes & choreography must be age appropriate. This is a childrenâs event and we would ask you to respect the age of your audience.
- We do not allow tap routines on our floor – please contact us if you are thinking of doing a tap number.
- If the stage is littered after your performance with feathers, confetti, etc, you should be prepared to remove it after your routine. No form of liquid, gel, aerosol, or glitter may be used that could affect the dancing surface.
- Can You Dance? staff are not responsible for any props or costumes. Performers must clear the stage of any costumes or props used in the performance.
- Dancers take part at their own risk. Can You Dance? will not be held responsible for any injury that may be sustained during any of our conventions. Colleges must ensure that all tricks and movements performed by their dancers are appropriate to each dancer’s ability.
- Can You Dance? reserve the right to use any photographs or footage for advertising and marketing purposes.
