This new convention hosted at the Winter Gardens Blackpool on 22nd September, will include 30 masterclasses led by 15 esteemed ADFP freestyle and CYD? faculty members, the CYD? Freestyle performance showcase highlighting the finest freestyle dancers who have been invited to perform and our interactive dance exhibition featuring Acropad, Showtime Circus, and more promises an engaging experience.
Renowned for our expansive opportunities, CYD? will also grant scholarships to diverse training programmes/college auditions, present dancers with certificates and medals, scout for talent, and offer exciting prizes.
Our aim at CYD? is to help bridge the gap between the different dance worlds and give freestyle dancers the platform, opportunities and national recognition they deserve.
Introducing our new senior creative consultants: Tracey Walters, Colin Chedgzoy and Angela Booth. They bring invaluable guidance and contribute to curating the ideal faculty lineup for the CYD? Freestyle convention.
MASTERCLASSES
Our choreographers & dance educators are the best in the business and are hand selected based on their teaching experience. You can create your own dance timetable from a variety of styles. All Masterclass capacities are capped and we welcome dancers from the age of 8+ (Masterclass faculty may change, CYD? holds the right to offer a replacement tutor of comparable background)
PERFORMANCES
(By invitation only) This is a great opportunity for us to showcase and celebrate Freestyle dance on a professional platform, spotlighting diverse talents and styles within the Freestyle community! The performances, whether high energy or slow and expressive, aim to inspire other dancers and encourage them to explore their own artistic creativity, individuality and potential.
EXHIBITION
The CYD? exhibition is packed full of dance experts and dancewear brands all under one roof! Â Alongside this, we have the Showtime Circus Experience and AcroPAD as well as fun social zones and photo opportunities! And for those eager to take home a piece of the excitement, we offer exclusive limited edition CYD? merchandise, including stylish T-shirts and cozy hoodies!Â
Secure your studio space by placing a ÂŁ50.00 deposit, which will be deducted from your final ticket invoice.
Provide us with an estimate number of attendees, this will guarantee entry allocation based on your estimate.Â
Confirm your final entry numbers, no later than 8 weeks before the event. You will then be sent an invoice with 30 days to pay.
Your entry wristbands will be delivered via post. Dancers can book their masterclasses online* and will receive E-tickets.

Dance schools booking through the CYD? office can have up to 4 free teacher tickets. You will need to reserve your place with a ÂŁ50Â deposit then collect entry ticket numbers & submit these on the link below no later than 8 weeks before the event (dancers purchase their own masterclasses individually from the online timetable)
