Now in its fourth year, this exclusive programme is the only one of its kind in the UK, designed for dancers aged 10-18 who dance at an intermediate/advanced/pre-professional level and is not suitable for beginners. This intensive offers a unique opportunity to train with the prestigious CYD? and Joffrey Ballet School faculty in an intimate, focused environment with limited places, ensuring personalised attention and a deeper learning experience.
Designed with versatility and adaptability in mind, this intensive offers classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and other styles of the commercial industry. During the intensive, merit scholarships and awards will be offered, including the opportunity to audition for the Joffrey Ballet School 2026 Summer Intensives and the year-round Trainee Programmes in New York City.
Tom is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the dance industry. Alongside his accomplished career as a performer, Tom’s dedication to education led to the co-creation of Can You Dance? (CYD?), a prominent platform supporting the development of dancers and the wider dance community.
Over the course of his career, Tom has worked with internationally renowned artists including Jason Derulo, Rita Ora, Meghan Trainor, Take That, Cheryl Cole, Tulisa Constostavlos, Rihanna, Elton John, and Gary Barlow, among others. His television appearances include high-profile programs such as The X Factor, Stars in Their Eyes (as a resident dancer), So You Think You Can Dance UK (Top 5), Britain’s Got Talent, The Royal Variety Show, The Brit Awards, and Dancing on Ice.
Tom has performed in world-class venues such as the London Palladium, Wembley Stadium, and the O2 Arena, and participated in major music festivals including the Capital Summertime Ball, Capital Jingle Bell Ball, Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Wireless Festival, and V Festival. His portfolio also encompasses work as a dancer and choreographer for fashion shows, product launches, corporate events, and hair shows.
Tom is the founder of TS Training Academies, a growing network of dance training centres across the UK, currently operating in five locations. The academies provide high-quality, accessible training for aspiring dancers.
Alongside this, Tom leads his TS Mentorship Programme, a structured initiative designed to support and guide the next generation of dancers. The programme offers professional development, career insight, and personalised mentorship, reflecting his commitment to nurturing talent and fostering excellence within the dance industry.
Now retired from professional performance, Tom channels his expertise into CYD? and his wider training initiatives, focusing on creating meaningful opportunities and contributing to the continued growth of the UK dance sector.
Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino founded the Joffrey Ballet School in 1953.
In more than sixty years of existence, the Joffrey Ballet School has remained at the forefront of American dance education. Graduates of the School have gone on to dance for major ballet companies, as well as for numerous modern and contemporary companies, both in the United States and abroad.
