Please see below for details of the day:
Wristbands & Class tickets
Please ensure you bring your booking confirmation email which needs to include Entry tickets and Masterclass tickets, these will need to be shown on arrival and before each class.
Wristbands will be given out on arrival (unless ordered through the office) White wristbands are the dancer tickets, orange are the spectator tickets and blue are the teacher tickets. We have also included a yellow “competitor” wristband for all dancers wishing to compete in the masterclasses. If you don’t want to compete, please do not to wear this wristband.
Wristbands need to be kept on by everyone. Lost, misplaced or forgotten tickets WILL NOT be re issued and a new entrance band will need to be purchased. Please make sure you are wearing your wristband before entering the event. Whilst entry tickets allow access to watch all classes, admittance into these areas will be based on a first come, first served basis.
We are unable to issue replacement class tickets at the event so please do not forget to bring these as dancers will be unable to get into class without them. Class tickets cannot be swapped, however masterclass tickets will be available to purchase right up to the event and also on the day on the link below:

The day
Doors will open at 8am. Please be aware that bag checks will be taking place so allow extra time for this. There will be an intro at 8:45am, with the first class beginning at 9am. The classes end at 5pm, the awards ceremony will take place at 5:30pm and day will finish at around 6pm.
The Venue
CYD? Masterclass Games will be held at – ACC Liverpool, Kings Dock, Liverpool Waterfront, Liverpool, L3 4FP
Catering
There will be food available within the venue, please note it is card payment only.
Parking
There is parking at the Kings Dock Multi storey car park at the venue which is pay & display, there are also cheaper options within walking distance (see here > https://www.yourparkingspace.co.uk/liverpool/venues/exhibition-centre-liverpool-parking). Any parking queries, please call The ACC on 0151 475 8888.
Travel
ACC Liverpool is a short taxi or bus ride away from Liverpool Lime Street station and its direct services to London that take little over two hours.

What to wear
Please wear suitable clothing for the Masterclasses. Trainers are fine for commercial & jazz, as certain areas of the venue are carpeted contemporary may require socks or soft soled dance shoes. Don’t forget to bring tap shoes if you have booked a tap class.

CYD? Social Zone – NEW FOR 2023! Join in the fun in our new media zone and grab that instagram worthy shot, you could also win a prize! #imacyddancer
Acro Zone – Come & develop your acro skills with AcroPad! You can purchase a day pass for £10 online or on the day. The day pass entitles you to use the AcroPAD equipment all day, as many times as you like! We have an instructor there to help and support you to use the equipment safely. Please check the timetable for when the sessions will be taking place!
CYD? Merchandise – At this year’s convention we will be selling this year’s range of CYD? T-shirts & Hoodies!
Scholarships & awards – The CYD? team will scout in Masterclasses at each event for various awards and scholarships – keep your eyes peeled for what’s on offer this year!
Photos & Videos – Photos & videos will be taken at the event – if you have students who don’t wish to be on any of them please make this known to a member of staff on arrival at the event.
