M&S Bank Arena Liverpool – Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th October 2019
Tickets will be posted out up to 3 days before the event – any orders placed after that can be collected on the day. Online ticket orders will close Thursday afternoon, tickets can be bought on the door for £22.50 for a one day ticket & £32.50 for a weekend ticket.
Doors will open on Saturday 19th at 9:30am and Sunday 20th at 9am

The day will run from 9:00am to 10pm on Saturday & 9:00am to 7:45pm on Sunday (unless you are taking part in the teachers programme in which case you will be allowed in from 8:30am). Please be aware that bag checks will be taking place so allow extra time for this.
Entry Wristbands: These need to be kept on at all times and if you have weekend wristbands, they have to be worn for the whole 2 days. Lost, misplaced or forgotten tickets WILL NOT be re issued and a new entrance band will need to be purchased. Please make sure you are wearing your wristband before entering the event. Whilst entry tickets allow access to watch all classes & showcases, admittance into these areas will be based on a first come, first served basis.
Class tickets will be posted out from Ticket Factory. We are unable to issue replacement class tickets at the event so please do not forget to bring these as dancers will be unable to get into class without them. Class tickets cannot be swapped on the day.

Bags will need to be kept with you at all times, unattended items may be removed. Due to the scale of the event we can’t promise any storage solutions therefore we recommend you find a space in the tiered seats in the exhibition area of the echo arena only and allocate someone to look over your belongings, all bags will be left at owners risk. Please note you can leave items in the secure cloak room for £1 per item.
You will not be allowed to leave bags in the main stage arena and can only sit in these seats if watching a performance, unattended bags will be removed by the M&S Arena Staff. (There can be NO seat saving).
What to wear
Please wear suitable clothing for the Masterclasses. Trainers are fine for commercial & jazz, as certain areas of the venue are carpeted contemporary may require socks or soft soled dance shoes. Don’t forget to bring tap & ballet shoes also.
There will be food available in our food court located next to the NEW Spotlight Theatre which is situated upstairs along with dance areas 6 & 7.
We have lots of exhibitors joining us including some of Europe’s leading performing arts colleges, global dance brands and many more! As well as all the stands we have the following zones, some will be offering free classes throughout the weekend:
Fashion Stage – Sponsored by Dancewear Central. The UK’s first dedicated FASHION STAGE! See your favourite brands on the catwalk. Fashion shows will be running throughout the weekend alongside various competitions!
The Open Sessions Zone – presented by the Royal Academy of Dance. Free classes will be taking place throughout the weekend, see the news section of our website for the full timetable. Places need to be booked upon arrival (on a first come first served basis). Dancers under the age of 13 must have an adult with them when signing up to an open sessions class.
Demo Stage – This will be the stage for competitions, improvisation and so much more. Tell your students to bring along their Tap shoes.
Acro Zone – AcroPad will be hosting our Acro zone, head over to try out your tricks & tumbles!
CYD? Merchandise – At this year’s convention we will be selling limited edition CYD? T-shirts, Hoodies & Caps!
Watch the finals take place on the M&S Arena stage featuring all the winning schools from across the CYD? Regionals. Who will take away the winners trophy? The Senior Final is taking place on the Saturday evening at 8:00pm until 10pm & the Junior Final is taking place on the Sunday at 5:30pm unit 7:45pm. Once the competition begins you will not be allowed back into the exhibition or other areas so please make sure you take everything with you before the show begins.
CYD? Super Convention will be held at – ACC Liverpool, Kings Dock, Liverpool Waterfront, Liverpool, L3 4BX
Virgin Trains operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street (with a journey time of just over two hours). Other long-distance rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station. ACC Liverpool is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10-minute walk) or catch the CityLink bus which runs every 12 minutes as a circular service around the city centre and stops at both Liverpool Lime Street and ACC Liverpool.
Parking is at: ACC Liverpool Pay & Display Car Parks Monarchs Quay, Liverpool, L3 4FP and is priced at £7 per day (car parks 1-7 on the map). There will be car park attendants situated at the pay machines to assist with any queries, but to pay by cash, the machine only accepts £1.00 coins. One machine takes credit card payments. There are also other car parks located at: Q-Park John Lewis (Liver Street), L1 8DH. Q-Park Liverpool One (Strand), L1 8LT & Q-Park (Hanover Street), L1 4AF.
Coaches can drop off at the riverside entrance and you will have to walk around to the main ACC front entrance to enter the event. Unfortunately there is no onsite parking for coaches.
