Who can perform on the Main Stage?

The incredible Main Stage at the CYD? Super Convention is dedicated to dance schools. With full production, lighting, staging and effects this is an experience your dancers will cherish forever! To qualify for a performance slot you must have a minimum of 10 dancers from ages 5+. There is no extra fee to perform on the main stage this is included in your entry ticket. Music & performance rules

Music can be a maximum of 3.5 minutes. A link will be sent out 5-6 weeks before the event in which you can upload your music.

Please make sure your routines, music & costumes are age-appropriate, can we also remind you to avoid any sensitive subjects. Whilst we do appreciate dance is art and routines can be thought provoking, it is a children’s event and mental health topics or historic traumatic events, including the recent covid epidemic or the Ukraine war should always be avoided – if you are in doubt just ask the office.

Not only this, the day is packed full of performances that will leave you feeling inspired, an acro zone for you to practice and get new tricks plus a social media zone for you to get that perfect instagram shot!
